Hi to everyone,

This is my first post here, I am new to PTO but sooo glad I have found you all. Today is just a messed up day. My husbands brother got out of prison today. He just did three years State time. I am happy for him and it was good to see him but it makes me very sad. I wish so badly it was my husband that came home today. My husband has been in for 1 year so far, many more to go. My husband is a federal inmate (possession charge) he has not been sentenced yet (April 23) his PSI says 262 months low end and 327 high end. What a long long road it will be. Our lawyer tells us that 8 years should soon come out of the PSI because of an enchancement that is a breach of plea. So hopefully my husband will be around 14 year. Not that 14 years is any good but compared to 21 years 10 months it is good. So as you can see I am just missing him today. So tonight out to dinner with my mother in-law, brother in-law, and my two year old girl for a welcome home dinner.

We're always happy for others but it still doesn't stop us from wanting ours out to. Just take it a day at a time, that is all you can do. Maybe your husband will get the leaser amount of time. My fiancee' has been in for 4yrs and is now filing for early parole so we have our fingers crossed. Good luck with everything.

We know you are happy for you're brother-in-law and miss your husband. It's ok (and human) to feel both things. Keep your head up and stay strong.
