My son is incarcerated at the Rudd Unit, Texas, and was denied parole on his first hearing. His shortway release date shows as November 30, 2010 and his parole attorney is once again preparing documentation. He called concerned that many of the people in his unit were being denied their shortway and getting instead a serve-all. Does anyone know what the % of shortway releases are? Should we be prepared for bad news again???:(

I don't know what to tell you, but my husband got a serve-all, too. He says that the people he's talked to at Rudd are mostly getting serve-alls, too. Not good news, I'm sorry. But that's just what I've heard, personally.
