My boyfriend was sentenced Friday to 18 mos, and he will most likely go to Marion Camp. I just want to know any information that you have.

Thanks for the response, I have been in the middle of a move and haven't had computer access except for at work, didn't want "prisontalk" to show up on their server! Do you know when visiting times are? He was FINALLY sent there yesterday, after 5 weeks in a US Marshall holding prison here in St. Louis. I wish Marion was a better place, but at least it is a camp and he is close to me. Congrats on finishing the sentence, ours is just starting, but it is 18 mos. what about halfway house? did he get this?

my man was recently transfered from marion to yankton for the RDAP program, he did not mind the time at marion as much as he has the SD time (mostly cause he is so far away ow) all the info on visits n whats will be sent to you when he sends you the papers to be put on his list ( i was denied cause of a past record) he did not like the food but the CO's traeted him decent there compared to the new place. he also got better pay at marion then he dose at yankton.holler at me if i can help u with anything else or if ya just need someone to talk 2

Hi I have a son in Marion Camp, He says its okay its just he gets bored from time to time, so I send him plenty of books and its not like being in a medium or maxium prison. They have more liberties than being in a medium. He said he can walk around as much as he pleases. Not too confined if you know what I mean.
