WOULD IT BE A SMART IDEA OR WHEN SHOULD I START WRITING TO PAROLE? HE HAS 11 MORE TO GO... is it to soon???
would they keep this on file for the upcoming years...
give me your opinion if i should start writing or not, they might say she is crazy for writing 11 years so soon, but i want them to know that he better come home on the first parole date

Here in Oklahoma you only have to conbvince one of the pardon and parole board members to consider an early parole review. Mine does'nt go back in front of the board until 2012. I am wondering the same thing, if it is to early to write them. But at the time he went last time he was'nt married and did'nt have a home to come home to or anyone out here pulling for him. I would give it a try though. Good luck! :)

yeah.....you should. My friend husband was in there while their son was growing up. So every year she would send them a picture of their son growing up and include a letter of why her husband needs to be home. She did this 4 years before his parole hearing. I don't think it would hurt...may even help. At least they can see someone on the outside really is going to stick by them

chrispro..I was thinking of and idea you can use to write the board. You can write about your marriage...you've been married along time. You can just talk about the experiences you and your husband have had since he has been in. At least that will help them see him as a person instead of a inmate with a number.
just a little something to help..... :)

How do you know which parole board to write to if they keep getting moved from prison to prison? Do I write to the parole board where the charge came from?

No you can go to the DOC website and see what parole board the prison he is in is zoned to. Hope that helps..:)
