can anyone show me an example of the price list of food, clothes etc that the inmates can buy from the shop at the polunsky unit please.

You will find a lot of the information you're seeking here (http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/), such as commissary products (http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/finance/comm&trust/comm&trust-commissary-products.htm).
The commissary price list was posted under "General Prison Talk" last year, I think October or so. Or you can ask your pen pal for one.
