OK I know the prisons are still open here in Iowa! LoL Where did everyone go?

Well I am still here, as Usual ;) And I wish the prisons in Iowa did shut down, that would mean all our loved ones would be home with us!!

Amen to that sistah-girl! LoL How are things going for you Heather? I haven't been doing so good but I'm not dead yet so that's a plus (I think)! LoL

I'm still here too. I haven't gone anywhere. They added another 13 months to my man's time. I've just been dealin with that news. I'm going crazy, but other than that, I'm haning in there. How are you guys doing? Hope all is going well for you. I wish the prisons would shut down. My baby would be home. I can only hope.

Same ol here. Still writing and recieving letters dailey, phone calls 2 times weekly. No visits though (bummer), but I am starting to write an appeal now. Cept I lost all the info on who I am sapose to write it too ..OOPs!! LOL, Ricky is gonna kill me! Well not really kill me, but now he will have to get the info all over again for me, I think my daughter threw the papers out. So, Im hanging in, and will be for a while yet. So whats up with you? Why havent you been doing good? Anything I can help with?

Aww Tana Im sorry hun. What happened? You know. when it gets down to it, our men are basically guilty of one thing: a lack of responsibility. Prisons do nothing but reinforce that problem, hell they don't even have to pick their own clothes out. There has to be a better way.

Thanks for the offer of help, nothing anyone can do though unless you have a few extra kidneys? LoL Besides the long drive to Ft. Dodge twice a week I havent been up to much but lots of bedrest. I used to think it would be great to lay around all day...til I have to! LoL Still trying to figure out when Aaron will be able to come home. He got a job already so I guess that shaves even more time off but I sure wish I knew WHEN!

Hey Heather! I'm glad that things are going well for you and Ricky. You know I'll help you with that appeal letter if you want. They better let you get your visits. They're bogus for that sh*t. They know it too. I think it goes to the warden. You can call up there and they'll tell you. I'd just call and talk to his couselor, Mr. Jeff. Sucka! He's on my last nerve and I don't even have any left. How is your daughter doing? I hope all is well. Is everythign better with your ex? Are you still at your friends house? Don't forget we'll have to get together to get pictures taken.

Hi Suzanne! I know our men aren't responsible for squat except for keeping their tempers under control. But damn, the DOC is really doing us wrong. We can't even find out why and how they calculated his time. I mean we know that he had a couple months taken off for when he whooped the CO at Ft. Dodge when he first got locked up over 5 yrs ago, but that's not 13 months worth. You know what I mean? I'm trying to get an atty now to fight. I'm going to be contacting the ACLU too I think. It doesn't hurt to try.
We can try and find you some extra kidneys. I'm sure we can find some donors. = ) Just trying to help. I'm an organ donor, but I'm not ready to give mine up yet, but someday. =) I know it's got to be hard being on bed rest. It's really got to suck. YOu better take care of yourself.
Aaron should be able to get papers telling him of his out date, etc...His counselor should be able to give those to him. I hope you guys find out soon.
where do you live again? Isn't it up north? I just went thru Ft. Dodge yesterday on my way home from my dad's. Lots of coppers. I hate driving through there. I have no choice unless I want to take extra time to go around. Um...nope. It's already 4 hours at least and I just want to get their and get home.

Well Hello again! LoL Im in Sioux City. Oh and yup, Ft. Dodge smells like bacon all right! I can't stand that place either. I'm not ever going there again once Aaron is outta there.
I haven't seen his papers yet but he said that his discharge date is January 2006. He also says that isn't his release date though, just when he's off papers. Is there a separate date that says when they will let him out?

Hi Tana~ Yes, I still need help with that appeal letter, but now I gotta call Jeff again for the info. I talked to Ricky today and he seems to think I need to send the appeal to Cedar Rapids, I said nope, I know for a fact it goes to Des Moines, and to a women. Yuck, I hate to call Jeff, but I guess I will have to again. We have already gone the warden route and all he did was turn it over to the deputy warden which he told me to appeal to Des Moines, what a merry go round!! My daughter is doing fine, getting more use to things. The x has calmed down alot but is back to calling me alot and begging me to come back ...NOT!!! And yes, I am still staying at friends, saving my butt off and the plan is to be in my own place April 1st, hopefully. Wanna come help me set up?? LOL, and ya, We still need to get those pics taken. Sometime real soon, Ill make a trip up, we can still meet in anamosa, Id like to see the prison anyway even if I cant visit yet ( I am bound and deteremined that I am gonna yet!!) Lets make that a plan real soon, how bout a Saturday? I'll have to bring my kiddo, but thats ok, I am sure you will bring your kiddo too, and Danielle loves to play with others, so they can keep each other company.

Suzzanne~ Maybe Aaron is talking about parole dates? Apparently his max outdate is Jan 2006, but it sounds like he could be released sooner than that.
