Well, my fiance is only at M1, and I know there is still some time before any of this happens but..... I was wondering when the time comes, can he come home to me? Or do we have to be married? He has wrote a letter to his case manager with no reply as of now and it has been 2 weeks. I am the mother of his son, and I was just wondering if that will have and weight for me on his release? Release as in no parole/probation time should not have any affect.

If there is parole/probation time to serve after release from prison - where he lives would have to approved by the P/P Officer assigned to him. That would be done several months prior to his release.

Thanks, he will be on 9 months probation.

So home passes will probably be okay to come here too?

Since that would be dealing with 2 separate entities, prison and probation/parole I would think that just because he's approved for one doesn't mean he's approved for both.
