My husband is going to Avenal in a couple of weeks. Is there anyone here who can give me any tips on visiting. Should I get there early? Do they statr to terminate early? Are the CO's nice or overbearing? I would just like to get a heads up on the sitution. Thanks for any help you can offer me.

HI MY BOYFRIEND IS AT AVENAL BUT HIS OUT DATE IS 10*6*02 I PERSONALLY THINK IF U HAVE TO LIKE A PRISON VISITING SYSTOM I WOULD PICK AVENAL THE CO'S (ON 3-4 YARD)HAVE ALWAYS BEEN NICE TO ME IN THE PROCESSING ROOM I HAVE YET TO BE TURNED AWAY OR ASKED TO GO CHANGE THE MAJOR RULE THERE IS NO DENIM OR LITE BLUE CLOTHING AND U MUST BE ABLE TO PASS THE METAL DETECTOR (NO UNDER-WIRE BRAS) I HAVE RUINED 2 MYSELF!!
