I am looking to find women's prisons in NC. I am trying to interest the womens ministry at church to "adopt" a prison. I know these women need open arms and encouragement just as much as the male prisoners, if not more. If anyone knows of any please let me know. Thanks!

The main Women's unit (CIW), as well as, a satalite unit (CCW) are in Raleigh, there is also one in Rocky Mount, and Wilmington.

I suggest that you look at the North Carolina Dept. of Corrections Website. They are all listed there, with some brief descriptions of the custody levels at each unit, etc.
