:) I am posting a link to a website for my younger sister. She is jail because of a tragedy that resulted in the death of our elderly mother. We were both caregivers for both parents until they died. We never had respite, and no help from any other family members. We were sick ourselves, but had to ignore our own for the many multiple needs of our parents. We worked tirelessly, for years, and did the best we could, but in the end that did not prove to be good enough. Our beloved father died in 2001, and our dear mother in 2002. It has literally wrecked 3 lives...my dead mother, my ill sister, and my own..we will never get over this tragic event. Please visit our site, and post a kind message to Cindy if you so desire. Here is the link: http://www.freewebs.com/mercy_for_cindy/........ copy and paste the link with your browser(if you need to, to go there)....Thanks.

Trixie - regardless of what happens to your sister, you still deserve to have a life of your own. You certainly have suffered both for your mom and your sister. I wish you the best. To readers - if you haven't visited the site, please note that her sister commited this crime under the influence of medication. The FDA is actually looking at the effects of these same medications for children. Many parents have testified to the FDA that their children have committed crimes after being prescribed these drugs (SSRIs such as paxil, effexor, etc.). The confusing thing is that these drugs help many people and others they make worse regardless of their age. It depends on the persons own brain chemistry. That is why doctors need to follow patients carefully after they prescribe medications to watch for behavior changes.

This is very sad. No matter what, always keep in touch with your sister, visit, send what you can, and fight for her freedom!
