**UPDATED**

Sorry I haven't posted this yet but I have had a LONG weekend, no need to voice all my personal drama, LOL.
Anyway I was hoping to wait until I had all the confirmations from those who weren't sure if they were going to be able to attend or not, but I will post the list of the definates. Keep in mind that there may be one or two additional speakers if they confirm.

Here are the speakers who will be attending:

Michael B. "Shakir" Jackson - Ex-con, former addict, author, motivational speaker, owner of www.jointfx.com (http://www.jointfx.com/) & long term employee of the New Jersey Department of probabtion and parole

Richard Owens - Owner and operator of Telenet/Prisoncalls and one of PTO's biggest supporters.
www.prisoncallsonline.com (http://www.prisoncallsonline.com/)

Katrina Stilles - Florida/Georgia chapter of the Jeff Dicks coaltion, assisting inmates and families with medical issues aswell as advocting for change. www.jeffdicks.org (http://www.jeffdicks.org/)
(Jeffs mom is also trying to make it)

Rita Lucey - former federal inmate representing National CURE, FAMM and the November Coalition.

Patty/Friscolady - a beloved member and moderator of PTO who is about to hit the one year anniversary of her release. She will talk about the road to prison, the hard times inside and her journey home. Focusing on how support has helped her. With a possible surprise from ToniB (A pto member currently on the inside)

Jessp & SherryF - Discuss the launching and what we have to look foward to with the all new "Cont-tact News" publication.

George Crossley - a Former inmate of Florida's Union C.I. (death row inmates are held at this facility and it is located on the same grounds as FLorida State Prison)
George has worked on Civil Liberties issues for over 40 years and has also worked closely with Kaylee and Making the Walls transparent.

Barbara Belzer - Mother of a former inmate incarcerated in Florida and recent appointee as the executive director of the newly created Florida Chapter of CURE.

Besides the above listed speakers we are hoping that the following will be able to make it:

Wanda Valdez, who husband was brutally murdered by CO's in Florida and they were acquitted. Civil law suits are still pending. Wanda is a HUGE advocate for reform to this horrible system.

Shirley Dicks (mentioned above)

A member of Federal CURE a
Also, there will be a PTO pow wow to discuss the site etc. and some fun socials.

CAN"T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!

the speakers sound great! I am sorry that I couldn't come. I couldn't afford to go to the conference and visit family in prison both.
