My fiance isn't sure if he's divorced or not. A couple years ago while in prison his then wife said she filed for divorce and he never got any papers because she forged them. Well now we are planning on getting married and I just wanted to know if thee's anyway I could find out if the divorce did go through?
He said he was filing out paper work a couple weeks back and the couselor told him he is indeed divorced but he said the couselors are assholes and you can't believe them 100%. So my point is... where can I find out if he is divorced or not???

you have to call the county that she lives in. call the court house there. if she filed, he would have been served papers as well, should have anyway,

She could have started the prossess and not finished. She has to show proof that he was served before a judge will ever see the case.
