Hello:

How do you feel about loving your man if he has intentionally harmed others? For instance, if your man tricked someone into believing something that wasn't true and that person ended up with a felony conviction? How would that make you feel? Would it cause you to look at your man a little differently?

I think it would make me question his integrity...........
And yes I would look at all of these things and wonder who he was...
Believe in yourself and become a creator of your destiny...

okay so if he told a lie to someone about what he is in for? Is that what your asking...If that is the case I would ask him why he lied and if he did it cuz he was ashamed then I would not be upset and would try to understand the situation more...I am not God so I cannot judge him or anyone...I am FAR from perfect!

Hello Babyboo:

I am referring to the following: Not disclosing your criminal past, changing your name, birthdate and social security number for the sole purpose of deceiving individuals so that you gain an unfair advantage over them to swindle money out of them. I am talking specifically about befriending people to whom you intend to bring emotional and financial harm to.

So, if you knew your man was doing this and caused someone who is unaware of who he really is to become involved in the scheme unwittingly, and that person get's convicted of a crime would that cause you to re-evaluate him as a person?

I would try to talk some sense into this person and help them see that this is not the way to treat others....If that doesnt work..I would definitely not affiliate myself with this person..

All I can say is everyone makes mistakes, and deserves a second chance.

I have to say that there are many people in jail for this very thing, but I believe that as others have stated, people can and do change... I however would not affiliate myself with a person if they continued with this type of behavior... and I knew the truth about what they were doing.

I'm the first to admit that I'm far from perfect. But if I knew my man was doing things to intentionally harm another... I don't think I could stand by him. If he's able to lie that well, how would I know he's not pulling the wool over my eyes as well? I really believe in the three-fold law... and what you give out comes back to you thrice.

I like to thank everyone who responded to my question. First, your honesty is refreshing. Second, I agree people make mistakes. Lord knows I've made mine and I'm sure I'll make some more. But if your man has gone to prison four times for doing the same thing I think it's time to hang up your coat. I would always the same exact thing, "how would I know he's lying to me." You wouldn't.
