I think that Joey was moved to Lewis Prison. Can anyone tell me what I should expect when I go visiting.....and is there anything special I have to wear or not wear, and what we can or can not do......also I need info on where to send money to him.....How long does it take to get approved for visits? Um, how much are phone calls?........Anything else of importance...

Hi! JoeysGirl, All I know is what I found on the Arizona Department of Corrections. And it says on there you are not allowed to wear any shade brown. No denim blue or the colors of the inmates. It also says you are allowed to wear shorts and dresses I believe but within a certain length. I think you are allowed a hug and a kiss at the beginning and the end of visit. And also when walking side by side holding hands is ok according to the site. As far as the money goes I think you send it to the address of the unit they are in. And it can be in the form of a money order or cashiers check or a goverment issued check or a postal money order. With payable to the ADC and the inmates name and number. Hope this helps a little. I have not been to visit as I am scared to death to go. Given the hostage situation that went on there and I have never been to a prison before.
