THIS IS A QUESTION ( I THINK) LOL ANYWAYS, IT HAS BEEN ABOUT 2 WEEKS SINCE I HAVE HEARD FROM MY HUSBAND - THIS IS REALLY WEIRD AND I'M TOTTALLY FREAKIN OUT! I LIVE ABOUT 1500 MILES FROM HIM SO THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW ANYTHING- HE CAN'T CALL :argh ANYWAYS- I'M WOUNDERING IF THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE MAIL OR IS IT HIM? I'M SOOOOOO SCARED HE IS HURT- WHAT CAN I DO? HAVE ANYBODY HERE NOT BEEN GETTIN MAIL OR IS IT JUST ME? :pissed:

the mail has been a 'lil slower it seems.....don't get upset just yet! i think it has been a common problem. u could call the jail and see if they will give u info.?! is he there? that kinda stuff...hang in there!

my letters used to take exactly 2 weeks and 2 days between the time I mailed him a letter and the time I got one back. But he was pretty far away then. Now he's a lot close and we get our mail within 2 days tops.
Hang in there sometimes their mail is just really slow.

Oh these mail issues drive me up a wall sometimes. In general I receive mail from him regularly but on occasion he has told me he mailed certain letters or gifts and it seems like they take forever to arrive and I have noticed a few things I've gotten lately had no postmark on them so I couldn't actually say how long after he finished a letter that the prison actually sent it out. I hope you get something soon.

Yes it has been a little slower this last week. We are a week apart on mail and friday I got one dated and sent on Feb 3 and One dated and sent Feb 6.

I am still waiting. It normally takes 3 days to hear from him and for him 5 days to get my letters. He barely got a letter I mailed on Jan. 21 on Feb.4th. So its really slow right now cuz the last letter I got was Feb. 7th. Hang in there hunny...

mattswife if you keep reading these threads you will see that you are not the only one checking the mail on a regular and more times than less we come up empty. I went two weeks and i was feeling just like you. Eventually a real good letter came and put me back on track. But I did realize that he had not written me was the reason i did not get my letter. So write your man and tell him how much those letters mean to you. Therefore when no mail comes you will say to yourself. Damn!!! the mail must be slow again :(

If you are really worried just call his unit and make sure he is okay. Just let them know you haven't heard from him and you are concerned. (I've done it...when I get no mail) The mail has been pretty slow lately....hang in there!!

Which state is your man in? I have gone the longest between letters from my man in Texas, and if I don't get something today, well :( It seems that the mail is just taking at least a day or two longer than usual and that is just to get from Texas to Oklahoma. So hang in there and know you are not alone in the waiting!!
