Hi everyone,
This is my first time on this sight. I am here in Idaho and furious with the instituion screwing with our mail. Have any of you dealt with this issue?

That is an issue we all have dealt with. There will be times when you just can't take it anymore and want to CHOKE someone in the mail room. Just try to be patient and it will pass once the letters come pouring in your mind will stray from the idiots in the mailroom, just keep your end of the mail up and eventually you will get a flow. Also remeber that when the holidays come up you wil have to be extra patient because of the overflow....WELCOME TO THE PTO FAMILY

Yes it can get frustrating but you just have to be patient as much as possible. I have gone as far as calling the mailroom but it didnt do anything.

Welcome, beautiful out there in Idaho. Everything you can possibly think of gets discussed here including the mail. :-) My philosophy has become when it gets here it does. I only become concerned if it is something he really needs and he calls and wonders where it is. Say, legal papers. Otherwise I know once it goes through the prison gate it is "theirs" to deliver when they feel like it. If it is ever becomes something crucial I'd send it Priority because you can get a confirmation receipt to
track it right to their hands. Or, certified with a return receipt if you really want to know who can be held accountable for the piece. So glad you're part of the PTO family. ~ WJ

The CO in the mail room love reading our men's mail and love to hold it for a long time. I think that must be the best job in the world, just sit in a room and read other people's mail, what's better than that? That really makes me mad when i have a letter dated one day and i get it a week later, that is just crazy and we both are in the same city and state, so what excuse do they have for that one? None, they just like to play around with the mail.

welcome!! i know how you feel. they always be screwing with the mail and it drives me nuts, but eventually we get it. i think my mailman tries to avoid me if he doesnt have a letter on letter days! he tells me that he fears for his life!!!

I know all about the mail, but I think I get mine faster and he gets his whenever they decide to give it to him. By the way Welcome to PTO glad you found us.

well up to now i have'nt said anything about the mail. It's on now, i'am sick and tired of them messing with the mail, i sent jess a money order back in oct.03 he still has'nt recevied it now it's gonna cost me $12 a put a tracer on it. I have sent letters and cards that he never gets. Never had a problem getting his mail up til now. should have got his letter tuesday and it's still not here. I smell two rats. DOC and USpostal service.
