I would think that it means that he may be up for parole consideration very soon. I am still waiting on my man to get his papers asking him because he has been in state for NINE months and hasn't heard anything yet.
So there is honestly no telling.. there seems to be different rules for EVERY case. Good luck though. And let us know if you find out anything.

This is just a guess, but I would assume it means that he has a relatively short sentence or that he hasn't been sentenced yet? Since he is still in county, did he enter a plea and they are in the process of doing the pre-sentence investigation? If so, at least in federal, sometimes they go ahead and check out employment and housing and other stuff to try to determine what recommendation to make to the judge. They could be asking this kind of stuff if they are going to give him probation, or if he has a really short sentence left after his time-served credit.

If he has an EF#, go to the Ga. Dept. of Corrections website and click on "inmate query" His TPM may already be posted. Hope you get good news. The GDC moves very very very slowly though. (You already know that, don't you?) I'll keep a good thought for you; don't get discouraged!!!

good luck getting a tpm in 6-8 months. my man has been in state custody for almost 10 months and he doesn't have a tpm yet.. we are just patiently (or not so patiently) waiting :(

and he didnt have a violent crime or anything eitha.

good luck with it all!
