ive ben trying to connect to the chat all night it says all connections in use does this mean the chatroom is full?

Paris, are you trying from the tool bar at the top of the page where it say "chat"? If so, was there a blue popup at the upper left of the screen and did you click "yes"? I just tried and it worked fine for me.

same problem today, I cannot connect to the chat room. I did before and never had any problem so far

HELP! I'm having the same problem and cannot seem to get into the chat room. I've also tried replying to a PM that I received just to let her know that I am o.k., but the message says that I haven't posted enough for PM rights. Can anyone help?

The chat server is having problems. Since it is public and we don't pay a fee to use it, I don't get any priority results to my request about it. Hopefully it will be back up soon! If it is not, I will look into changing server.

Now I can't get into chat. I got a new computer and everything else seems to be fine but when I go to chat all I get is a blink gray screen

I've been having the same problem. I hope we can all get together soon and chat.

The PTO chat is currently down. We have been chatting by first downloading mIRC and then opening our own room....I will find the post with the directions and cut and paste it below

I have copied Soul_slivers instructions to get into chat.....
Here's how you do it! It's a quick and painless download from this site

You can follow these directions!

Once you've downloaded the program, you'll have to start the program. You should have an icon on your desktop that says mIRC is colorful lettering

It will ask you to enter some information about yourself, and once you've finished that, you're almost chatting...this is where I might lose you and where you might want to grab that AIM name and hit me up

You'll want to click on the "File" menu and choose "Options"
It will bring up a gray box and you'll see "IRC Network" underneath that you'll see a pull down menu. Please click the arrow and scroll down until you see "EnterTheGame: Random Server" and select that.

Now you can click OK and we're off to step two!

Click on File again and choose "Connect"
You'll here a few noises and then you'll see another box pop up that says something along the lines of "select channel" or "Join Channel"

In the top line of that box please type this EXACTLY as I have it typed here

#clan_PTO

Then click OK or Enter

You should be placed into the PTO Chatroom

Hi and welcome to PTO, Petrucci508! PTO has just moved to a dedicated server and our chat room is not up and running right now...but soon!!!

The post above yours will give you directions on how to get to a chat that we are using in the meantime! There is always usually someone there, but for sure for our Tuesday night chats!

Please go to the introduction forum and post something about yourself, if you'd like! There will be many members who will give you a warm welcome!
