hi everyone,

i just wanted to share something from my friend that is in the, Sacurity Housing Unit (SHU), he is always so positive, especially, for such a negative place.

My Dream
The beautiful sight of butterflies with their spectrum of colors, flashing brightly in the air...

The sensual smell of a flower, as it awakens to the energy rays of the sun's light, and opens it's green lively petals and reaches upward toward the universe...

The phenomenal twinkle of a star's light, as it brightens the universe's infinite space...

The titilating taste of chocolate-covered strawberries, stimulating the mind to savor moments in time and appreciate the unique-ness of life's rewarding experiences...

Life's beauty depends on how we see it!! By, Baridi

Well, thank-you for allowing me to share a small part of my friend with you all.
Respectfully, dona

This was beautiful. To have such optimism.......is truly a gift of God...........

Thank you for sharing this and reminding us that our loved ones might be on the inside.....but their souls and imaginations can soar into the heavens.

Dona, thanks for sharing that. Is he in Pelican Bay? One of my friends is in Susanville but is being transferred there for 4 years, to a supermax unit.

hi Mike ,
yes, my friend has been in the SHU (security housing unit= solitary confinenment) at Pelican Bay for 8 years now. it is a terrible place. but, my friend is always positive in everyone of his letters, i don't know how he does it. Except that, twomanyhearts is right, he has God on his side. Thank-you every one. lol, dona
