Marcus was released today ... YIPPPEEEEE!!!!
He called me this morning from the Huntsville bus station about 11:20 ... gosh, I can't begin to tell y'all how good it was to hear his voice ... especially since TDCJ had told him and others that everyone scheduled for release were on hold as "they" had a back log and couldn't get to them on time. Marcus thought it would be March or later before it would be HIS TURN!

I'll let him tell you of the events leading up to him finding out the news ... it is quite a story!
He will probably be on board tomorrow night or the next night!

The news that my "other" son got a life sentence on Monday kind of takes the wind from my sails and the joy from my heart ... I am so very blessed and thankful for Marcus being home but at the same time torn in two by Corry's sentence:(

That is great news I am so happy for you both. And I am so sorry for your other son!
I can only imagine what kind of up's and down's you must be going through.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers!
