My mail has been slower than a snail!!! Last week I only got a few things and I noticed my neighbors are not getting anything either...Two weeks ago the mailman delivered a letter my baby wrote me to the wrong house!! This is so frustrating cuz our only form of communication is letters...SUX!!

On top of dealing with the slow US postal service I then have to deal with the Canadian postal service. I sent out a letter for Christmas which was to get there on Christmas eve cost me 40 dallors....humm when did he get it?? I would say the Tuesday after Christmas... Nice eh? I just got letters yesterday wrote on the 20th of Jan.. So we are never on the same page. Were always a week apart. And dang so much can happen in a week!!! Hope it speeds up for all of us....

i wonder if it a problem with the postal service as a whole because peop[le i talk to from everywhere it is slow. i wish that was the reason i was not getting mail no he just is not writing!

be patient...maybe everything is still slow from the holiday, but that was a WHILE ago! here in ny, my mail seems to be getting here within a day after he writes...good luck!!!

Same thing here for us too. I have written him every day last week and he has only received mail from the week before. I have only received mail once.
So it’s got to be a postal thing as a whole. Or the people in the mail room at our men’s place taking there sweet time!!
It does get real frustrating when I don’t hear from my boo, especially when we are out of phone time. :argh

Hang in there. The mail here has been pretty good lately, seems like the more snow we get the faster the mailman is compared to when its nice outside the mail takes forever.

You guys are lucky that you get mail even if it is slow. I haven't gotten any mail from my honey since July. He's written me at least 12 times and I haven't gotten any of his letters. We don't know if it's the snail mails fault or if it's the prisons fault. I write him a letter everyday and he gets mine just fine, but I don't get his. Thankfully, we talk at least once a day.

Man I would be p***** if my neighbors got my mail they think he away overseas so seeing a letter from the prison would just bring on gossip, maybe there is a way you can talk to the post office to see what is going on good luck

I only just received the Christmas card my husband sent me last week (he posted it on December 8). It usually takes about a week for me to get his mail (I am in Australia). I write to him every day and he told me he didnt get any mail for a while then all of a sudden he gets 12 letters on the same day. Talk about feast or famine.

How bout this I sent my husband 4 letters (1 from me, a card, a song and poem and 1 from our daughter) and they all had number for the order for him to open. I mailed it out on the 10th of jan and he received 2 on 17th and 1 on the 25th and he has yet to receive. And i mailed them all on the same day. In our neighbor hood we have so many postal ppl. I remenber a couple of time they put his letter in someone else box so i called and ask them if its no longer a requirement to know how to read in order to work there. BAboeboo I feel your pain.

It's monday and still nothing!!

I think they route all our letters through the North Pole and then send them back down to the states on the back of a very slow caribou. We talk several times a week and he's always saying "you know, like I said in my letter," and I say "what letter?" and then he says "you can't remember anything I write to you!" and then four days later I get the letter and go, "Oh, that's what he was talking about."

Well it's wednesday and the mailman did not even come! He just does want he wants too...
