These are really good sites but they all pertain to upper states and does not help us here in Texas

I am a mom in AZ, I was released in March, 2007 after doing 4 years. I am trying to get a place for my 9 year old daughter and myself to live. We are in Phx AZ and need desperately to be together. HUD said I am not qualified for housing, because I have a criminal recored. Please help me. I'm 47 yrs old and my daughter is nine. I now have 4 and 1/2 years clean and sober. My daughter needs me so bad right now. But I've got no where to live with her. I work full time, but just can't afford an apartment for us.

reaandlace you might want to go to southwest social service on Indian School Road. It is a service that helps you get into an apartment if you have a felony record or bad credit. If you are interested, please PM me and I will give you their info. There is no fee with them and you just pay the rent to them I guess.

Thanks a lot for that link. I have contacted the reentry organization and I would really like to get involved.
