Which side is your hubby on, med. or min.? My hubby was there about three years ago on the min. side. I know the rules are different on each side. I don't know the rules for the med. side. Good luck to you both!

I'm not sure which side he is on. I am guessing medium because he has 14 pts. Whatever that means. LOL
What does that mean anyway? Do you know?

Yeah he is most likely on the medium side. The points refer to certain criteria they have like charges, age, any gang relations problems they have caused or been involved in and such.

Well, he's 27, not in a gang. But does have some anger issues! LOL
He's back in on a parole revocation and the first time it was possession of a controlled substance, burglary and when he was in minimum, the idiot escaped. All non-violent crimes. He's a crazy boy! But I love him somethin terrible. :haha: I guess all that stuff could add up to 14pts somehow. That just seems excessive, but like I said, I am just learning about all the ins and outs.
We have a beautiful little Kelly angel that will be a yr old in March and we are really looking forward to contact visits o he can kiss and squish her! :)

I'm still trying to see if anyone knows anything about visits, mail, etc for the medium side. So if anyone knows anything, let me know! ;)

I'm 45 min from conners, really haven't heard anything bad about that yard, just another pen. The only thing I did hear is on Fridays they, the co's would go out and buy what ever the inmates agreed on to eat that night for dinner and if they had money on the books to spent. Don't know if it's true or not but thats, that. If i can be of any help pm me I do wish my son was there because it is so close to me.

I asked Tony about this prison and believe it or not ...don't faint.. :) He doesn't know anything about it!! I thought he had been in everyone in Oklahoma hahaha guess I was wrong.
Where is Hominy anyways? :) I have heard of it...

Good Luck!!!

LOL!!!
Hominy is northwest of Tulsa on Hwy 99 going towards Bartlesville.
You had said Tony had been in several here in Oklahoma, do they move inmates all the time or what?

Yes they move them quite often depending on classes they want or are requied to take and secuirty levels and such Terry is in his 5th facility in 18 months!!!
On the points his anger issues and the fact he is in on a revoke and was an escape well honestly its suprising his points wasn't higher and with him having escaped he will be kept at medium for a while they don't give escapees chances at the lower security lervels until they have proved themselves for awhile.

My husband is serving life at Connors.
Depending on what unit he is on, he will have visitation on Sat. or Sun. and again depending on what level he is at, for how long, max time is 6 hours, 9a.m. - 3 p.m.
They have a large cafeteria style room, a court yard, and an outside area, with a small jungle gym and picnic tables.
You are allowed one kiss and hug, when you get there and when you leave, but I've seen more, just depends on how brave or crazy you are and what CO is working, most are pretty decent, but there is one that really strict, that no one likes.
If you have anymore questions, pm me and I will try to answer whatever I can.

Kim

Hi, my husband is serving LWOP at Conners. We were married there last Valentine's day. The yard isn't great but it isn't the walls either, visiting isn't bad as long as you aren't a level one, but i agree with Kim, there is one CO no one likes...watch out for Parnell! He was gone for awhile and it was blissful, but i heard he's back and more blackhearted than ever. The smallest most innocent touch (his hand patting/rubbing your back instead of resting on the back of your chair for a moment) will get you a class X write up and kicked out of the visiting room. The rest of the co's are pretty humane....you just have to be careful about being overly affectionate :) *wink* What else do you want to know? Mine's been there for over two years now, almost three...so i know the ropes pretty well. If you have any questions holla back :)

AS a former prisoner in OKDOC I can tell you that Conners is one of the most feared yards in oklahoma. I think that 14 points is MED security.

Roger said it was pretty bad. I just pray alot for him to be protected. Since he came back for court 6 points drop off, so we are hoping that they may move him.
Thanks for your candid response. I appreciate it.
