George has been transferred to Harris County yesterday. All I can find online is his spn number and then jail info says PROC/122 O1A. It says he is at the jail on 1201 Commerce. Which I can't find the mailing info for! :( I really want to be able to write him! How do I write him? Also anyone ever get through the phone number to Harris County Jail? The number I have is 713-755-5300. Is this right? Cause everytime I call I go through the prompts and then I get a busy signal!! I've been trying since last night!!

Don't know why have my message is in bold and the other half isn't! Apparently the board is acting up for me right now too!

Ok I finally found a better phone number ((713)755-7955). Found out he is still in processing. So I should be able to get info tomorrow! I did see he has a court date on Friday. Does that mean he will get his conviction at that time? I'm so ready to know how much longer he has and when he will be coming home!! I hate the not knowing! That has been the worst part of this last 7 months!!

1201 Commerce is home to IPC (Inmate Processing Center). Does he have any type of special needs? If so, he will likely be placed at 1301 Baker - sixth floor.

If he has court tomorrow it is likely it is the formality of acceptance of charges. From there he should be given his first "official" court date - I'm assuming within 7-14 days based on our experiences.

I've found Harris County to be pretty good at updating and accuracy on their inmate locator.

In order to receive calls if you do not have it preset on your landline - you will have to contact SBC. If you need their information please let me know. The calls for us were $3.60 for 20 minutes. But I am local and don't know if there's additional charge for your area.

If I can be of any help - let me know....I'm more familiar than I'd like to be! lol

Best of luck!

Thank you! I know all to well about being all to familiar with places! I never thought I would know so much about Smith County, Bexar County, and Dominguez State Jail! LOL In the last 7 months I have gotten to learn about all of them though! Now I get to get familiar with Harris!

He is out of processing now. They have him at 1200 Baker St. I hope he tries to call soon cause we don't have a collect call block on our phones. I just want to hear his voice!

Ok more questions. This is the number it says for his location JA09/6F2 04F. So how do I address the letter?

Also why would his bond go up?

I'm not swearing I'm 100% correct - but I thought ja09 was 1307 Baker - does he have special needs? Seizures, bi-polar? Because you're showing ja09 6th floor - and that's a special needs floor. I hope that he is at that location. All of the jails are worn out but it's a little better at 1307.

To double check - go to the Harris County Inmate Locator -
http://apps.jims.hctx.net/sopublic/

You can look him up - when the screen comes up verifying he is there look in the top gray box to the left - there will be the ja09/6f2 - click on it and it will give you the physical address of the jail.

Here is a sample of the address -

His Name - # spin
1307 Baker St. - 6F2
Houston, Tx 77002

As for the bond - I'm would really be guessing - unless the bond amount was raised by the judge when he went to court the other day. When you look him up on the inmate locator it will list his charges and bond amounts - maybe you will see something there.

Sorry I wasn't of much help!

Thanks! He is at 1200 Baker St. He is supposedly been diagnosed as bipolar while at Smith County. *rolls eyes* I just wish he would call!
