Dear Fellow List Members,

I have started a Petition Online to help with my son's filing of a 3076 Petition"RECALL OF COMMITTMENT". Between family members and friends and neighbors I have been able to gather almost a 1,000 signatures at home. Do to limited space at GoPetition I was not able to add more about his case. If anyone has any questions I will be more than Happy to reply to your E-mails. I have listed his Petition under Global. The Petition states a brief review of what has happened to my son since his incarceration 7 years ago!

So, far I only have 90 and sure would like to have a 1,000 from GOPETITION. He is incarcerated at Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, Ca.

My son Called today and I told him that he had 200 Signatures so far and I told him about you! He got a kick out of hearing you were from Paris, France.

He went to Prison 7 years ago and is not familiar with the Internet!

I do print out the messages and send them to him! It seems to cheer him up! Do you know any French women who might become a Pen Pal with him? Or a German? LOL!

Also, I read your introduction and want to say have a great & safe trip to Florida!

Hi Kathy, just got home from work and wanted to check in on you and see how things were going.

Kathy, welcome to PTO. If you don't mind me asking but when was your old man in OCJ (if he was), & what reception center did he go to, & when. The reason I'm asking is he looks real real real familiar, & the name sounds real real familiar. I think I have doe time with him, but I could be wrong. I was in OCJ for a while in 95, & for awhile in 96, I was in Wasco in 91, 95, & Delano in 96. I have also been to Old Folsom, Corcoran, Ironwood, & Chuckawalla between 90 & 97.
Just curiouse thats all. His case doesn't sound familiar though (But that doesn't mean anything), he just may look like someone I knew. Well any way I hope you like it here. Just a note to say thank you for signing my son's Petition. I appreciate you being able to add 2 more besides yours!

My son was 17 in 1995, but was transferred in Sept. of 1995 to OCJ. He has growen alot since then!

So, you might have been in OCJ with my son! From OCJ he went to Wasco for awhile. The dates would have been Oct of 1996 to I think Jan of 1997. Then he went to Coalinga Pleasant Valley State Prison. He has been there since 1997.

What is your name and I will ask Ricky this Weekend if he remembers you! OR send me a JPEG Picture and I will give it to him!

Thanks again! If you can get the 900 members from Prison Talk to sign his Petition that would be great! I have been trying to get as many as I can before I submit his 3076 to the courts!

Rick is known as HAPPY in Prison because his attitude when he went to Coalinga was "HAPPY". The reason he woke up every morning "HAPPY" in Prison was because he wasn't in OCJ any longer!

Orange County Justice System believes in Locking our Youth up and throwing away the key!

Rick has truely been changed for the rest of his life and it doesn't need to take 13 years for him to have this attitude. The minute he went into Prison, he truely changed! Prison is no longer serving its purpose any longer! Depression and suicidal thoughts consume my son everyday now!

My Goal is to get at least a 1,000 Signatures! If you can help, I would truely appreciate it!

I received exciting News today about his Petition 3076. The Guy I hired is going to take Rick's Case to CDC in Sacramento. He has a friend that became a head honco.

It's not what you know, but who you know! So, we will see!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up and Rick doesn't even go there! As far as he is concern he doesn't get out until he is 28 and that will be in 2007.

Rick's PETITION is at 414 and we need 364 more signatures! He has been in the HOLE for over a month but the GOOD NEWS is he beat his 115 Write Up and got his 6 points Back!

His Petition could have been faultered by this 115 which was a simple argument.

Davis being Governor could be a Blessing in DISGUISE, where you consider people like our Son's!

But, being a Foster Parent, the Children and I will be THE FIRST, in his cuts, before he touches the Prison System! I've already received notices about my Cuts!

Also, I heard the FEDS will also need to cut! Clear Foundation can write Letters on inmates behalf to get the CDC to look at their file for early release! I think your Richard and My Richard have done their time for their crimes as minors!
