This is an ad that my son Richard wrote to Pampered Prisoners Pen – Pal site and we would like to know what you think of it and if you have any ideas to make it better.

Hi my name is Richard, I’m hoping to meet people and make new friends.

It would be great if I were to meet a woman who shares my interest in art and my entrepreneurial spirit, however knowledge on the subject of art is unnecessary.

I’m a competent artist and I’ve managed to start a small business dealing in prison art my own and a few of my friends. My art can be viewed here and at the artist corner or you can log on to my web site at www.Prisonink.net.

I’ll be getting out of prison in a few years so my art business is a serious priority for me. I’ve watched so many men get out of prison hoping they’d get lucky and find a decent job only to end up working at a carwash or washing dishes quickly becoming discouraged and going right back to jail. Personally I believe a man makes his own luck and I’m determined not to become a cliché thus the emphasis on building my business before I’m released. Don’t get the wrong idea I’m not looking for contributions at all I’m just letting you know where my mind’s at.

Here’s where I get to tell you how great I am Ha Ha. I’m 39 and single, I’m 5’ 11” and 190 lbs I have brown hair and green eyes.

Some of the things I enjoy are drawing, writing, and reading historical novels and myths. In music I like old rock and real country. I enjoy the outdoors, the mountains, deserts and the sea. Horses, Harleys and wide-open “FENCE-LESS” spaces.

I’m nonjudgmental easy going and about as honest as a man in my predicament can claim to be. I’m a fairly simple straightforward man but I do enjoy a slightly complex woman. In women I have no preferred stereotypes however I am partial to big easy smiles.

The good-looking guy in the photo is my son; the second photo is me showing off my muscles Ha Ha. Yeah I know how vain but a man in my situation has so little to woo the women folk with I just figured I should use everything I have.

Well I’m beginning to feel like a used car salesman so I’ better rap this up. I’ll be watching my mailbox.

He is a great artist. His ad would have caught my attention.
I think my only critique would be is that maybe he is a smidgen too modest. He needs to vamp up his self descrisption. Barbara help him with this. Is he goodlooking? Say so! LOL
Desribe his green eyes ......... are they sea green, emerald green, hazel green? The eyes are the windows to our soul so tell us some more.
What is his best feature? DOes he have sweet smile? Nice mouth?

What a talent he has! I think his ad is great . How long has he been in and when does he get out? Your son sounds like a nice guy.

Ompa930 he has been down most of the last 20 years but it looks like he will be getting out in about 5 years. Yes he is a nice man he is also his mothers pretty baby boy LOL he hates it when I say that but I just can't pass it by.
