hello all !
i was wondering if any of you can share some prison lingo?! i have seen some notes that ladies have received letters they couldnt decifer cos it was full of lingo. can any of you share some?
i really dont know any, but it would be a surprise for my guy to use a few. just a couple would be cool! thanks!

bumping yo gums--talking a lot of mess
clicked on ---get beat up
boss--leutenant
snow--white female officer
fading the yard---getting into a fight in the yard
hoe squad--the squads that work in the field
called him to the square---starting a fight
looked at him one time---same thing
pizzills---meds
took my pistols off da shelf--got into a fight
....I could on and on...

oh yeah two more

johnnies--peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches
brown bad diet---when they are on lock down they are only given sandwhiches to eat

fixen is a cigarette
to stand jigger is to look out for the police
hard for me to remember alot cause my husband tries to talk our lingo now for
when he comes home so he isn't in the prison lingo habit

I'll have to ask my boyfriend tomorrow. I am so used to it that I forget what could be considered prison lingo and what's "normal". Babieboo's got it down pretty good!!!!

gettin put up or put away=going to the hole (seg)
yoked up=getting pushed around, in a fight, or snatched up
shaked down=searched

It really does go on and on but I think I have gotten used to it too and don't know what is lingo....I find myself saying these things.

roll up on : means someone came and started a fight with someone else...
bringin on the guns..... someone punched someone
a "chi-chi" --- is a concoction cellys make up in their dorms, in a potatoe chip foil bag with many diffrent ingrdients bought at commissary that can be classified as a stew. They cook it by putting wires from an extension cord into the bag....and plugging it in.
I know more..however, I am drawing a blank now...LOL!

LOL - seen a couple I had never heard before and I thought I heard them all!! I know what you mean about using some of the terms that our guys use that is considered "prison lingo" when I am speaking to people out here. I just get the *what the heck is she talking about* look. I am sure ya'll know the one!! This is a cute thread.
