:pissed: I just spoke with someone at the Unit in which my brother is in and they can give me zero information on his release date. They said they couldn't because they didn't know if I was really who I said that I was or not. I could be a terrorist for all they know. I am not a terrorist and have never claimed to be. So needless to say, I took a great offense to this. If they aren't going to release him on the date that is posted on the ADC website, why in the world post it? Does anyone know who I can contact to find out the release date? :argh

Try calling and speaking with his counselor. You can also call the Department of community punishment and see when his release date is scheduled or. Or call the head office of the Dept of Corr and speak with Larry Norris. There is a contact us list on their website with all the numbers you need.

the "IPO" may be able to tell you, but they probably won't tell anyone til the day before. try not to take it personally.
when they transferred my husband from county to cummins, i was scheduled a contact visit the next day, and i called there that morning because I had a "feeling" and even though he was in transit at the time all they would tell me is "he won't be here tomorrow" and that's all they would say. they can't and won't tell you. sorry.
