hi, everyone, i'm back in the states! :yes:
europe was good, but as you can imagine, my heart was here with aaron! we survived, though, of course. ;) he was super sweet and even called the hostel where i was staying in amsterdam and one day i got a note that said, "aaron called, sends love." it was quite thoughtful and sweet.
everything is going great here! aaron has a great counselor, he really cares about aaron and is doing all he can to help us out...it's a very nice change. aaron is still on level one, it will take a couple more weeks and he'll advance to level two. right now he gets one three-hour furlough each wednesday...so tomorrow will be our first "date" outside of a facility! woo hoo! also, his counselor said it was okay for aaron and i to eat meals together, since aaron is working for a guy whose family i practically live with...it's a little hard to explain the situation, but the point is that aaron and i usually get to eat together and spend about 1/2 an hour a day together. it's wonderful!
aaron's job is going super! he and his "boss" get along fantastically! they're always joking around and they both just love God and are great friends already. which is super for me, b/c his boss' wife and i are exactly the same way.
when aaron was first home he was SPOILED, and it hasn't stopped. :D this morning i sent special cookies with his boss to the worksite for aaron with a little note. i plan to continually spoil and love aaron to the point that he feels like the most loved individual on the face of the earth...and let him know that the love is from God, i'm merely a messenger and a servant of Him!
okay, i'll stop rambling on now! i could talk about aaron all day, but it would bore the heck out of you all...so let me know if you have any questions!
