Per an earlier suggestion, I was asked to go ahead and post my ask a question thing in my State so after much thinking, I am breaking down and telling you all where I work(ish).

Ask me anything and I will help the best way I can. A few things though:

1. Please respect my privacy, you do not need to know who I am or where I work in Kansas. Just know that I have had experience with every single type of offender (mental health, Juvenile, Men, Women, Special needs and medical).

2. I am sure you will follow the rules of the forum but I will repeat that I will not help you circumvent rules, NOR will I tolerate anything that could get me accused of Undue Familiarity if I was ever "outed" on here. I am sure you Kansas folks are aware of Undue Familiarity and just by virtue of me being here, some could make a case. Just saying.

Anyways, hit me up. I will answer and help anyway I can within reason.

hi farva, today is my first day using the prison talk system. i'm at that point where i am not sure i want to contact my inmate. i'm a relative by marriage. Is there information within this prison talk arena where i could read the latest status of my inmate? like a current photo, other misc status.he's been in prison for 10 years now. i am not even sure which prison he is located at.

Hello, Farva!!!

Thank you so much for your willingness to help with information. I was wondering whether you could answer a couple of questions...?

1. Do inmates in Kansas receive any compensation for their work while in prison? If so, under what circumstances ??? I tried to find this information on the Kansas DOC website, but could find nothing.

2. Is it possible for an inmate to transfer from a Florida prison to one in Kansas???

3. Is there anything else that might be helpful for my Florida inmate friend to know about Kansas prison conditions/issues/etc.?????

Thank you so much for your willingness to provide answers to a few simple questions.

Blessings to you!!!

Sara
