My son, who is still in county, just informed his wife that he may be transferred to either Middleton or Formby/Wheeler. From just the little bit of info I have read, sounds like the latter is the place to be. There sure isn't much current info about the place here!!!
Does anyone know about visitation? What my son heard was that all visitation was contact, as they have no "behind the glass" facility, anyone know if this is true??

Oh yea it is contact visits. :) Your son will probably go to Middleton before Wheeler. Everyone has to go there first before they are transferred to another unit.

Welcome,There is only a couple of us with men at Wheeler but it is a good unit.My husband say it is really laid back.I havent gone to visit yet.It is really far away from Dallas and I dont have a car but I plan to go in Nov.My husband and I have been married for about 7 yrs and have 2 babies.I known you are in the same spot.Hang in there and if you have any ? just ask.
