HI EVERYONE I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL FROM FACTI@***********.COM TO SIGN A PETITION TO GET FAMILY VISITS BACK FOR PRISONS ALL OVER. CHECK IT OUT AND ALL OTHER KNOW ABOUT WHO MAY NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. I HAVE MANY FRIENDS THAT WOULD SIGN THIS PETITION BUR DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT AND THATS A BUMBER. Something doesn't work with this petition !!! # 725 is obviously "Reality" signed James M... N... from Ks. Jessesgirl from NC is supposed to be # 726, and doesn't appear on the petition signatures. I was proposed # 726 too (same # as Jessesgirl), I've entered my name e-mail, country etc, then signed, and I don't appear either on the list. :confused:

Does anyoe know the outcome of today's hearing on the gordon vs ca dept of corrections regarding the family visits? I keep trying to check out the website for the san francisco superior court but it says there are too many people visiting that site.

Ornelas73 and for those who are not aware of the outcome of the Gordon vs CDC trial (restoration of family visits for lifers), the judge ruled summarily for CDC and Gordon has already started an appeal for that. There was talk that the case was being tried pro bono and money was an issue and a collection
had started but I havent heard much since. I believe they were asking for $1.00......which isnt much but would be a whole lot if every inmate and family donated...The court day was on May 8, 2003....
