Well, for the past few months Randy has been scared to get married cuz this wasn't how we planned it. Us being married but still never able to be with one another. Well, I got a letter today and he's ready! WOW! That about floored me...Now I have to go through a LOT of mess to get his birth certificate because his mom is MIA. March 24th will make it one year that we have been together! I will let you all know when it happens!!

I just now saw this thread (duh!;)) but I was so happy to hear this!!! I know you must be excited, I am for you! Marriage is a wonderful thing, prison or not. It will make you feel even closer and more connected to your Randy, and I know when I married my baby I think I fell in love with him all over again, as my husband. :) Awww, how corny huh? LOL Seriously though, I am so happy for you two and I wish the best for ya'll, you know that!

Check with the county clerk where you intend to get your marriage certificate. I recall reading a thread where someone else was able to get the marriage certificate with a statement or something. Each county clerk is different. I wish you the very best. God bless you both.

JENCANNON, you make some valid points, but this thread isnt to debate whether or not Sara should marry her guy or not. She is very capable of making choices and as you can see she has.

I don't really have a problem with someone coming to PTO and asking about why people in general are interested in marrying someone in prison, but when they come into someone's thread, such as Sara's, and make comments such as feeling sorry for someone, or that anyone is crazy, they are going to be banned from PTO.

Wayne has finally asked me to marry him today! I am so happy! Does anyone know if this can be done while in prison in Georgia? Im happy for you Sara!!!!
