I have just found out my Mother In Law has ovarian cancer, she's at CCWF.

Can anyone tell me what the medical care is like there, or any other information would be great.

Hi Jay'sgirl, I am sorry to hear that your mother in law has cancer. They will be sending her out to be treated since CCWF does not have the means to treat any serious medical need.

If she was being treated by a doctor prior to her going in, and the doctor is fairly close, she can request to be shipped to that doctor for continued treatment. If not, then she will be going to the closest available hospital or treatment center.

I really dont know much at this stage, she went in only a few months ago and was diagnosed there so we dont know whats going to happen yet. My hubby and Mom his are not close at all, maybe this will heal some old wounds.

Thankyou for keeping her in your prayers, she's had a tough life and all three of her boys are in prison, one's a lifer ( my Hubby ) and the other two just cant seem to get their lives together.
