Hello Yall,my name is Spencer.Just thought I would introduce myself.I am an ex-inmate from upstate New York.I did a 4 year stretch on a 6 year bid at attica,from 78-82.Yes I have done some growimg up since then.LOL.Since my release I completed 2 years of supervision.Then a 16 year stretch in the U.S.Navy.I am now the owner of a pluming co. in Dallas.I am a m ember of a few groups that take a stand for inmate rights.To name a few....Lamp Of Hope,Prison News Net.,Prison Reform Unity Project,Ex-Inmates In The Real World.Most of my time is spent fighting injustices on death row.Why you ask,simple,if I hadnt had family and friends who cared about me during my lockdown,I could very well be on the row myself.I am working on posting some writings from Texas death row,so keep an eye out.I also want to thank everyone I have talked to,for the warm welcome.Here is to a long and lasting relationship.God Bless..............Spencer

Hey spenser had a question. With all of those groups your involved it do you have resources for ex inmates to get a job? Anthony wants to start looking but I am not sure where to start. Let's face it job hunting from behind the walls is not an easy task...

Hi Spencer! Looks like you grew up in more ways than one. I love your God Bless at the end of each of your posts. I too grew up in NY - Buffalo, the armpit of NYC...LOL My ex-husbands brother did time in Attica around '76 to sometime in the '80's I think, maybe even until the '90's. His name is Gary Barone. Not sure if he had a street name that he used inside. Anyway, glad to have you, glad to see how involved you are and glad to see you love the Lord!! He is my strength and my salvation!
