Hi all! I don't know if this is really where this goes, but it IS drug related, so if I get moved, that's cool.

I have picked a topic for my research paper for one of my classes and wanted to get input from you who have loved one in prison for drugs and recovering addicts inside and out. My topic is aside from the obvious prison sentence what were the main reasons you decided to get clean......what did you personally do to attain this goal........family life with a loved one incarcerated for this crime.......I am open to all stories and suggestions. Please PM or email me. I plan to keep this on a anonomous basis, but I would like to get several view points. I have mine and my hubby's, but would also like to hear other couple stories, parents stories, children's stories.......

Thank you all in advance for your participation. I couldn't have a better resourse for the "real deal" than PTO!!

Much Love
Becki

Becki, I would be happy to share info about our story with you... what (ballpark anyway) is your deadline for getting the info you need? I've got visitation weekend coming up and will be out of town next weekend so I don't have a lot of free time right now is why I asked, but when I do I'll be happy to sit down and help you out all I can. If you have any specific things besides the above you'd especially like touched on, let me know in PM... anyway, let me know what kind of time frame you've got and I will certainly try to put something together for you.

I will be happy to share both my story and my guys story with you if it isnt too late. I am also looking for people's story for my website if anyone is interested and Becki, maybe you would consider letting me post your paper on my website; credited to you of course. There are a lot of people who email me from my site who have been inspired or basically learn an awful lot about their loved ones addiction. Becki you are welcome to go there to read peoples personal stories.
But PTO is full of people with stories of recovery and I'm sure you have had lots of response and some very inspiring stories.
Best of luck and hope it all comes together.

Thank you witchlinblue and I am very interested in speaking with you! It isn't too late - I am getting an early jump on compiling information. The paper is actually due in April. ((Personal IM and E-dresses removed by moderator, per PTO policy,.. ))
Hope to talk with you soon.

Much Love
