does anyone have anyclue whats goign on with cmc east mail?? i sent my hunny mail more then 2 weeks ago, and he still has not received. Even though he wrote me a letter, i received 2 days later, but he hasnt gotten any of mine. I sent him a letter everyday for 2 weeks, he has nothing. I also sent pictures toooo.......i called the mail room and they said he should be receiving(they coulndt really give me an answer).......ooo, kinda mad. If anyone has any info it would be nice..is this happening with anyone else? :pissed:

Girl just get used to it, I send my honey mail to CMC East all the time, I send him stuff like I wont be there to visit this week then I get a nasty letter asking me why didnt you come see me then a week later he says oh I just got the mail. They are just sooooo slow like turtles delivering that mail!

But like you said I always get his mail quick fast and in a hurry!

ok,...finally...after I post after being frustrated for 2 weeks about him not getting mail I got a phone call TODAY from him saying he got 1 of my 13 letters......luckily it was one of the letter I sent with pics, but 1. he got one. should i be happy???lol....im still so mad

My husband is at cmc and mail is slower than molasses in January. Sometimes it takes 2 wks for him to get my mail and I live 45 min from him. One of the ways I have found is to send the mail in large brown envelopes, or send a post card. They seem to get those quicker.

Where I work, there has been a big push on mail the last few days. We have been getting large amounts of mail in the units, more than even December amounts. Some guys have received 6 or 8 pieces at a time. And, if the inmate has moved, it doesn't return to the mail room but somebody is tracking where they have moved to and it is routed to that unit immediately. Somebody has made it a priority

hi can anyone tell me about cmc my son is going there soon, this is my first time hearing about this place.

From what my guys says the west side is like pub med of prisons. He says he couldnt be in a better place, however i've heard that the east side is not so great but still good in comparison to some prisons in Ca.
