I am trying to write my husbands after care plan for his parole letter. He is in for DWI's.

Does anyone have any suggestions for meetings besides AA. I live in the houston/pasadena area. I wanted to give a few options for meetings for him to attend.

Any ideas are apprecited.

I don't know that you necessarily need to get specific. Our letters on Skip's DWI indicated we would abide by any stipulations they imposed (counseling etc). One idea...you could offer the ignition lock out to be placed on the vehicle. We offered this option to the board, ON TOP of the counseling etc.

in addition to AA, there is NA (narcotics ananoymous) CA (cocaine anonymous), SOS (secular organizations for Sobriety), and Winner's circle (a support group for ex-cons). They will certainly have all those in the Houston area. All have their own websites; just put it into the search engine on your computer for local listings.
