Is the tropical depression heading towards the panhandle??? Thats where my man is...I'm worried...anybody got any info on this storm?:eek:

Tropical Storm Claudette came into the Gulf this morning through Ft. Walton and made it's way to Southern Alabama. I talked to Ben tonight, who is in the panhandle, and he said they didn't get much rain where he is. The storm did downgrade to a Tropical Depression.

There isn't anything posted on the DOC website about any of the prisons on that end of the state either so I think mainly it probably produced a lot of rain.

A little late. Claudette hit the Florida Panhandle near Ft. Walton Beach last night. No major damage reported.
