Hello friends..

My son finally made it to the MDOC website and I was horrified to find his sentance listed there as 30 to 180 months. This is not what he was sentanced to. He was sentanced to 30 to 50 months....???????????

His attorney said they do that for everybody that they put the maximun penalty allowed by law in there are the maximun out date. Is this true or should I get a copy of the court transcript and send it to someone... and if so who would I send it to?

Seems lately he is being screwed over big time...

i only know about ncdoc website- ron's info (at least today) is accurate

I know on the MDOC website, under my boyfriends max date, it says 2015, but he is getting out this February. The max date is the maximum amt. of time that they can be kept for their charge, under the law. Under earliest release date for my b/f, it still says 2001, when he was originally paroled. (he's in a boot camp for a parole violation) I wouldn't worry too much about those dates. I was freaked too when I first read it, but now I see what they are doing. Hope this helps! :)

You sure can't depend on those online rap sheets. I question one about her height and weight at 5'8"@160 when her rap sheet said 4'10"@210. Her mug shot didn't go with the 210!!

And to think, someone is getting paid, but can't even handle that job correctly!!

All I can say is that of all my pen pals not one of them have the right info. at the DOC webpage???

Once I even wrote to a pen pal in AZ and told him I saw one of his sentence had expired. I was so thrilled - BUT - he didn't know anything about it and it wasn't true...... Dam I thought his appeal went through....

I WOULD TRY TO GET THE INFO CHANGED... MY SON'S TOO WAS INCORRECT. THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE HIS RACE IN HIS FILE.... THE SENTENCE THING, IF IT IS NOT CORRECT, IT ESPECIALLY NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. THE DOC USES THIS INFORMATION ON A DAILY BASIS FROM THE COMPUTER... WHATEVER THEAT COMPUTER SAYS IS WHAT THEY USE..

CALL THE STATE DOC OFFICE IN THE CAPITOL OF THE STATE YOU ARE IN. ASK THEM WHO YOU NEED TO CONTACT TO GET THIS INFORMATION CORRECTED. IT WILL PROBABLY BE SOMEONE WITHIN THE DOC STATE OFFICE.

Does the doc website only show fed prisons or state too, and if state too whats is the website???

I don't trust anything I get online regarding people. I have had a few people tell me the could find out all about my criminal record etc. so I had them do it just to see how accurate this stuff is. The best one got about 50-60% right & thats being generous. If they can't get mine right I cant expect them to get it right about others.----------Ken

Thank you so much for the good advice. I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!! I am going to check into it just to be sure. I know that his attorney did say that they put the max penalty allowed by law even though he was sentanced to 30 to 50 but I would still feel better sending a certified copy of the court transcript and the judges order to someone important.

My guy is listed twice (a previous visit behind walls), one says he is a black guy and the other says he is white. Figure that one out, same id number, birthdate, etc, both have the same picture of him, all the crimes are his, the same man, I think ought to know that one of those is very very wrong. Someone messed up there big time, and I know this for a fact,,,hehehehe they arent even close. So dont trust anything these days.
