I wrote to my pen pal, Ryan Denny, at Christmas 2003, and I recieved a reply today! I know it takes a long time because he's in America and I'm in Australia, but it was well worth the wait.

Even though his handwriting is messy, he seems like a nice guy. He is half white and half native American from the Chippewa Cree tribe. I have no idea if I spelt that right! :S

He turned 20 on Jan 12th, and he has a daughter, Roze Marie, and she'll be 3 in May. :) He also told me about his brothers and sisters, and his pets, hobbies, and favourite sports.

I know this is a pretty pointless post, but I wanted to let you all know how happy I am to have received my first letter from him.

Okay, I'm done. :D

My fiance is chippewa cree too. He is locked up here in California and only has a few months left. I'm so excited!
