My boyfriend just had a interview with the parole board yesterday and he was told that he will get an answer in 50 days......Okay here's his story He lives here in California and was arrested in Puerto Rico for drug trafficking........he is a first time offender. Without parole he has 12 more months. He's been there for 1 1/2 years already.... Okay so his papers had to be sent over here and all that and his parents got him a lawyer and he said he was just waiting for the lawyer to get him a parole officer which I suppose happened, and yesterday Sept. 11th he was going to be interviewed via the internet.........then he said it will take 50 days to get an answer on whether or not he will be granted or denied..... I was told we have a good chance, and I was told we really don't since he only has a year left anyways.......I just really don't know the process or how this works......Does it usually take 50 days to get an answer, if he gets granted how lon does it take for them to realease him? I really would appreciate ANY information........TIA!

Does he get good time My husband almost got 6years for a Class 4 felony and he got 2 instead he got his 6 months good time last week they made a mistake of putting october as his out date so he told me his out date was October 20th and they finally found it while they were putting his good time in so know he gets to come home in January.

I have no idea if he gets good time.....I am gonna ask him, it's just hard to get immediate responses because he writes only 2 times a month and we get no visits or calls.
