Hello, does anyone know if there is a way to find out which parole board office is currently reviewing someones case? I called that status line number and they said they can't tell me which office is reviewing it and only that he is currently "in the review process". They said I would have to wait 4-6 months for an answer, I was hoping to find out which office had his case so maybe I could speak with one of them regarding his case. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It depends on the unit someone is assigned to. A listing used to appear on the Board website for which panel reviewed which units. The Board does not get the file until everything else has been done with the file, so it is possible for an IPO in one region to have the file and then send it to a Board Office in another region.
Board members generally will not discuss a case until the file has arrived for a vote.

Thanks CenTexLyn for the info. Well I finally got to talk to the parole office and right now his file is at the Huntsville parole office, I was told his case needs a majority vote so I guess since this is his 4th time up for parole all I can do is keep my hopes & prayers going that he makes parole, although I honestly feel in my heart that he won't make it, I guess I should not think negative. I will let you know when I find out their decision. Thanks for listening.
