Hi all~ I was just sitting here thinking about my Ricky, and Just realized its been 5 months today that he has been locked up, and its been that long since I layed eyes on him!
Its hard to believe 5 months have past already, and I hope the remainder of the time flys by as fast.
As some of you know, I did get approved for visting, and then the very next day his councelor called and told me I wasnt approved. It then went up in front of a board and was still denied. So then Ricky wrote the warden, that didnt do anygood either. All the warden did was send it off to the deputy warden (I guess he is who looks into the boards decisions) and it was still denied. He said it will be reconsidered when Ricky has his classes completed.
Well, there is a big problem with that! He cant start classes til he gets a job, which he is still waitting for , and because everything is so overcrowded, the waitting lists to start classes are long. So now Im thinking WTF!?? How is he sapose to get classes completed when the lists are soo long?? Its all a bunch of BS to me, his councelor even said he will be lucky to get a class accomplished before his outdate even. I can appeal the final decision to, I forget where, and maybe by telling her (It is a women I have to appeal too) about that problem, maybe that will do some good, who knows. Just anyway all, I just wanted to let you know what was up with me, and my situation, and well vent a little :rolleyes:
Have any of your had to go through this many motions to get visits?? All I can say now is Thank god for letters and phone calls, or right now Id be nutz!
