OK---my ex mother in law called yesterday supposedly she has a friend that works in a county jail and the jail received a letter from the parole board saying something about if they arent in there for something like child molestation, murder and some other serious offenses they will not be sent to prison they will serve 6-8 months in county then go to diagnostics and parole from diagnostics....anyone heard this. AND REMEMBER I AM NOT SAYING I READ THIS JUST GOT A CALL LAST NIGHT ABOUT IT SO I DONT KNOW IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO EAT. BUT GOD I HOPE IT IS TRUE, HE HAS BEEN IN COUNTY FOR TWO MONTHS AND ONE DAY.

To be honest, I wish that was the case. I am not saying it's not, but I would seriously doubt it. They might be sent for diag and classification and then sent to prison.. instead of being sent directly to prison. My bf is in for a non-violent, non-"serious" offense, and he was sent to prison so I'm not sure. I would definitely do some more research on it.
