Can anyone tell me why they might move someone from one prison to another? My b/f was at brickeys and thur they just came and got him and told him he was being moved to Grimes. I was just wondering why they might have done this . He has told me he has not had any trouble or fights there at brickeys.... Please let me know if u might know Thanks for all your help he is in on not going to see his po officer.....

My husband was @ Grimes (for 4 months) till they moved him to work release then he got kicked out for some dumb reason & now he's @ Ouachita River

Can't answer the moving question, but my nephew has been in Cummins, Calico & Varner, . . .currently in Brickeys and says it's the worst. My son is in VSM and has been @ the Grimes Unit. He has said before that he wishes he had stayed back in 98'-99' I think. Thier were alot of young guys there @ that time and fights were happening all the time, now I think there are more older guys. I believe it was originally to house younger guys. I'm not sure anymore. I hope it is better there for your b/f than Brickeys was!
