I have a question about support letters. My son will be going up this year and I already have several letters. My question is when and where do these letters need to go? I looked under the Bradshaw jail (where he is) and found 3 people I believe that is over that unit. Those are the 3 I send them too right? And as well 1 copy to him? But I was thinking too he is up to be moved in October if not sooner because he cant stay at that jail longer than 2 years, I am thinking if I mail them to him and he gets moved right away the letters are with the other parole board members. Do I have to start over? Anyone know?????????? :hmm:

The Board Offices do not hold the letters. They only get a file on someone when it is presented for a vote. As a result, they forward those letters back to the Parole Division. When file is not in process, it is usually sitting on a shelf on Shoal Creek Blvd. in an area known as Regular File Cabs.

Another component to the problem on who/where to send is that the faces on the current Board could look different in a couple of weeks. The 7 Board members still have not been named nor have the 11 commissioner positions been filled. If you do not have to worry about review for several months yet, it may be best to wait a few more weeks to see who gets named to the respective positions.
