Today's "Annie's Mailbox" column (http://www.arcamax.com/anniesmailbox/s-585364-909503#posts) included a letter from a mom concerned about her 14 year old daughter's relationship.... and with good cause.

Part of the letter reads-Sara has a wonderful group of girlfriends who are equally concerned, but most have given up on her. They told me they are not allowed to hang out with Sara anymore. The Boyfriend tells her who her friends can be, where she can go and when, which, by the way, is apparently never.



Terrifying

I've never been able to understand why a 14 year old is allowed to be dating someone exclusively anyway. Can't parents be parents anymore?

If they're in the same school, it's pretty hard to keep them apart. And that they may call dating.
