I think this hack will go a long ways in keeping forum confusion down! As everyone could easily tell, we currently have over 100 forums. Many of these forums may be popular for some, but not to others. The problem is there are just so many to navigate through to get to the ones you want.
WELL... :) Now you can collapse/shrink these forums so they are out of sight!
If you look at the Category Names in each area, you will see a small box just to the left of the name of the category. It will have a "-" in it when the forums under that category are visible, and a "+" next to it if the forums have been collapsed/hidden. You can click back and forth and watch them expand and contract. What's really cool about this is that your settings are saved in each member’s account, so the system will remember each of your preferences.
This is a simple add-on, but a useful one, especially for the state/regional categories, or a section that you don't pay much attention to. :)
Please NOTE that the "View New Posts" option still works for the categories that are collapsed, so you won't miss anything.
