I have not gotten any mail all week. What the heck is going on...I havent even received any bills...the mailman is not my friend this week. Anyone else experiencing mail problems like this. I am going to check it today during lunch...I am about ready to fall out :pissed: !

yeah it took 8 days to get a letter to me..in all reality it usually takes 2-3 days for me to get his letters. as i posted before, it was @ the waco texas post office for 2 days, on the 6th it was post marked, then on the 8th they stamped it again. :hmm:
my mail is pretty consistant...its rare if a letter takes more then 4 days to get to me.
just go to the post office & ask to speak to the post master....and file a complaint. :)

Yeah....I've went through that before. But come to find out the stamp had fell off the letter when he mailed it. Sometimes those correctional officers are so sloppy when the put the stamp on. I've recieved letters with the stamp barely hanging on.

Seriously though I would call the post office and inquire why you’re received no mail @ all, especially if you normally get mail daily. We had a case here in Illinois that a mail carrier was caught with a garage full of undelivered mail. Needless to say he lost his job and may have even been prosecuted for it.

Whoa! If that is the case(the mailman not delivering letters) I would have to stomp him to death! J/k....I hate waiting for his letters..it's bad enuff that we cant talk on the phone or see each other. I really hope no one is tampering with my mail. If I dont get anything today...I am going to the post office to file a complaint.

sometimes it takes 2 weeks to get a letter coming from the inside, i don;t know if they take there time, but i have received letters that were dated one date and the next date would reflect the two weeks later when we got them. no problem with bills yet.
i too would call your post office.

Hang in there honey. you'll get a letter soon. It's sad how invested we get in the mailman isn't it? try to do something to take your mind off of it, and know that he's probably fine, and things between you fine, it's just a mail thing.

aww Babie.. I hope you get a letter soon... Last week when everything in Portland shut down, I didn't get any mail and I think I was going to go nuts.. I just got a letter post marked on the 5th, so now he's gonna think I'm late.. but I send all my positive vibes to you so you will get your letters and bills.. hehe..

I have not gotten any letters from my two,outta state,pen-friends in awhile and I am literally freakin' and hoping that all is alright with both of em!!!:( My mailman,which is actually a mail-woman...is ALWAYZ extremely late getting here...I am waiting on her right now and sometimez,she just takes a day completely off~usually on Sat.!!!:(

Wow...hey...mail just got here...FINALLY!!! And...yeah!!! I got a letter from my pen-friend in N.C.!!! The weird thing is this...the letter does not end??? He did not sign it or anything??? Makes me wonder if the unit took out the last page before mailing it??? Any of you ever had that happen??? I know when my friend wuz here in TDCJ,he cut out some pics from a magazine to send me and the mailroom took em all out...they were not sexual or anything!!! Anywayz...I'm just HAPPY to hear from my Jimmy!!!:)

Well checked my mail today and the bills are here but no other mail. Jojo- I am freaking out too and almost starting to worry cuz this is not normal...he is really good about writing me. I need to stay strong and positive though. I am trying hard not to think about it so much but I can't help it. Thanks ladies for your support....

Babieboo, girl I feel ya! My husband and I are having MAJOR issues with the mail right now and I am about to explode myself! :argh I FINALLY got a letter from him today, but there are 5 yes, 5 letters missing from him, and as of Tuesday he had not received ANY letters from me in a week. Monday night 5 letters that he had sent out got returned to him, with like 3 postmarks on each, for no apparent reason. So he put them all in a big envelope that night and I still have not received them! :ham: And my poor baby isn't getting my mail either! ARGH! I don't know why they are messing with us specifically (Most others from that unit are receiving their mail just fine) but when I go visit next week I am going to talk to the warden. Enough is enough! And I hope you get a letter ASAP girl!!! Maybe you should call the mailroom at the prison and see if you can find out anything? Probably not though, they are usually rude.
